Review by Bryan Fitzmartin -- "Don't Forget Me (When I'm Gone)" by Glass Tiger (Awesome Track)

This is an amazing 80s song, and it’s clear that this song offers something musically that only that decade can provide.  This track was originally released in 1986 by Canadian band Glass Tiger and it immediately rose to the top of the charts. An interesting fact about this selection is that it contains backing vocals from Brian Adams, and there’s actually somewhat of a story behind it. The band insists that this was very much an “off the cuff” thing and that they did not in fact ask Brian Adams to do this.  They claim it happened because he (Bryan Adams) and the producer (Jim Vallance) knew each other and used to talk on the phone at the studio, and the idea of doing back-up singing evolved from there.  In any case, give this track a try, it was at the top of the charts back in 1986 for its uniquely “80s” sound that’s definitely worth a listen.
